Operations / Access

How Prosper handles logins and security while still moving fast.

For us to grow your page, the team needs access. This unit explains how we share logins, keep risk as low as possible and still move quickly when money is on the line.

Goal

Give Prosper what we need to work inside your account every day, without you feeling exposed or out of control.

Why we need direct access

To run a page properly we have to be inside the account, not just watching from the side.

  • Posting content and stories at the right times.
  • Running DMs, offers and follow ups in real time.
  • Checking analytics and revenue in your dashboard.
  • Fixing issues fast if something breaks or a post fails.

What access we ask for at onboarding

During onboarding we keep access set up as simple and clean as possible.

Core items

  • Login details for your main content account.
  • Any linked email that is used for password resets.
  • Access to the shared drive or folder where you upload content.

If needed for your page

  • Access to socials that feed traffic into your page.
  • Login for any extra platform we agree to run for you.

How we store and use your logins

You should never feel like your details are floating around with random staff.

  • Logins are stored in a secure manager, not in open chats.
  • Only the staff who work on your page can see what they need to use.
  • We avoid sharing raw passwords in group channels.
  • If a staff member leaves, access under their control is removed or updated.

Two factor and safety checks

Where possible we keep extra safety in place without slowing you down.

Typical setup

  • Two factor turned on for the main account.
  • Clear plan for how codes are shared when we need them.
  • Trusted devices added so constant code requests are reduced.

Good habits on your side

  • Keep your main email secure with its own strong password.
  • Do not share login details with people outside Prosper.
  • Tell us quickly if you see any login alerts that do not make sense.

What happens if you change a password

Sometimes you will have to update a password for your own peace of mind. We just need a clear process so income does not stall.

Step one

You change the password on your side and confirm it is working.

Step two

You send the new details through the agreed secure channel so only the right people see it.

Step three

We update our manager and confirm that posting and DMs are still live.

If you lose access to your account

Lockouts can happen. When they do, we work with you to get control back as fast as the platform allows.

  • We document what led up to the lock so support has a clear picture.
  • We help you gather any proof the platform may ask for.
  • We pause offers that could cause more confusion while access is limited.
  • Once access returns, we review what happened and adjust the setup where needed.

Access for multiple Prosper staff

More than one team member will touch your account. That is how we give you coverage across the day without burning anyone out.

Why this is useful

  • DMs can be covered for longer hours.
  • Posts still go out if one person is sick or offline.
  • Checks and balances are stronger with more than one set of eyes.

How we control it

  • Each staff member has clear rules on what they can and cannot change.
  • We log major changes so nothing important happens without a trail.
  • Access is removed from people who no longer work on your page.

How to tell us if you feel uneasy about access

If something ever feels off, we want to know early.

  • Send us a direct message explaining what does not feel right.
  • Ask us to walk you through who currently has access.
  • Request an access reset if you want a clean slate.

The goal is simple. You feel safe handing over the keys, and we have enough access to actually grow the account instead of just watching from the outside.
