Give you a clear picture of what counts as a red flag in your metrics, how Prosper responds and what we will usually ask from you when we are in problem solving mode.
What we mean by red flag metrics
A red flag is not just a quiet Sunday. It is a pattern that keeps showing up and points to a system issue rather than normal ups and downs.
- Revenue dropping hard and staying low after a change on the page.
- New subs coming in but very few renewals or DM buyers over time.
- Strong traffic but weak spend and weak engagement from most people.
When we see these patterns together, we stop treating it like a small blip and start treating it like a problem to work through.
The main red flags Prosper watches
We track a lot, but some signals matter more when we are looking for trouble.
Active subs falling for several weeks in a row, with no clear reason and no new base forming.
Chats are still happening, but paid sends and PPV take up fall off compared with your usual pattern.
More chargebacks, refund requests or complaints than normal in a short window.
Any of these on their own might be a short term issue. When we see several at once, it becomes a proper red flag.
First step check the basics before changing strategy
Before we move levers, we confirm that the basics are not causing the problem.
- Check payouts and platform status for any known issues on the OnlyFans side.
- Check whether there have been sudden changes to pricing, offers or page layout.
- Check your content flow and whether agreed content days have been missed.
A lot of problems trace back to something simple that changed without everyone realising how much it would affect behaviour.
Lever one content and value on the page
If the sub base or engagement is slipping, we often start with what subscribers see when they log in.
- Look for long gaps in posting or sudden drops in quality or variety.
- Check if too much has been pushed behind PPV with not enough value in the feed.
- Make sure content still matches how the page is positioned in your bio and on socials.
Sometimes a simple reset of rhythm and a clearer content plan is enough to stabilise things.
Lever two offers and pricing
Big changes in income often line up with changes to prices or offers.
- Review any recent changes to sub price, trial settings or discount habits.
- Check PPV and bundle prices against how your current audience is reacting.
- Look at how often buyers see offers that feel fair for what they receive.
Prosper prefers small, controlled adjustments here rather than constant price swings that confuse buyers and staff.
Lever three DM systems and follow up
If subs look stable but income is down, the issue is often inside DMs.
What we review
- Daily DM volume and response times from our team.
- Quality and structure of scripts used in the last few weeks.
- Whether good buyers are being followed up after showing interest.
Fixes we try first
- Refresh scripts so they feel natural and match your current content.
- Adjust priorities to focus more on warm buyers and regulars.
- Tune campaign frequency so fans are not overwhelmed or ignored.
DM work is a big lever, so we change it carefully and then give it time to show results.
Lever four traffic quality not just quantity
Sometimes the problem is not your page. It is who is arriving on it.
- Look at how many new subs come from each social platform or promo source.
- Compare spend and retention for each traffic source, not just signups.
- Check whether recent content on socials matches the type of fans you actually want.
If one source is sending a lot of people who never spend, we may suggest changing the promo style or focusing on better channels.
When the issue sits outside the platform
Some red flags are driven by life or external events rather than anything in the system.
- Time away from filming because of personal or health reasons.
- Travel or schedule changes that affect how much you can send us.
- Wider events that affect buyer mood or spending for a short period.
In these cases we focus on protecting your core audience and keeping the page stable until normal patterns return.
How we talk through red flags with you
Prosper does not hide issues. When we see a red flag that holds for more than a short period, we bring it to you.
- We show you which metrics changed, over what time frame and by how much.
- We explain what we think is driving it and which levers we plan to pull first.
- We tell you what we need from you, such as extra content, approvals or clarity on boundaries.
The aim is to keep you informed without overwhelming you with every small fluctuation.
What you can do when numbers feel off
From your side there are a few simple moves that help us fix issues faster.
- Tell us early if you know content will slow down or you need a break.
- Share how you are feeling about the page so we can match our pace to your bandwidth.
- Stick with agreed changes long enough to see if they work rather than jumping from idea to idea.
When we are honest with each other about what is happening, red flags become something we solve together rather than something to panic about.
